Wow wow wow! That's all you can say. We went from being embarrassed almost newly weds to (well we thought so) professional looking dancers. Paula was so patient and kind and also full of fun and laughs to lighten the mood when things got a bit tense. Andrew and myself had the most perfect first dance and im so very glad we opted to go for the lessons. 6 1 hour sessions and Paula had us appear to look like we were old hands. Paula gave my husband (Eckhardt) and I dancing lessons for our first dance at our wedding this year in April. I love dancing very much but I struggle with getting sequences right, Eckhardt dances well but gets stressed like me. Paula allowed us freedom to explore when we danced and she made us feel relaxed! An opening dance at your wedding with everyone watching is quite a stressful thing but It worked out so well on the day and we were so impressed by Paula's teaching skills. We also thoroughly enjoyed the dancing lessons and we learned about each other and grew closer throughout the process. I really loved the beginner sokkie class. I loved it so much that I did the intermediate class too. Paula is a great teacher and makes sure everyone is comfortable with the steps (and not afraid to ask questions if they're not). At every wedding I've been to since, I annoy the hell out of the DJ by asking him to play sokkie tunes. Thanks soo much to Paula who created the perfect first dance for us! We had a tricky song with slow and fast bits but that didn't put Paula off! She created a dance that we both felt reflected us as a couple and we were both comfortable doing but was LOTS of fun! We got loads of positive feedback from friends and family on the night! My bridesmaids organised a bachelorette party with Paula and what a fun idea it was. We all had so much fun. She provided a glass of champagne, props and took photos as we posed in a photobooth. Paula really made an effort to understand what we liked and what we felt comfortable with, but still challenged us a bit, so we were super impressed with how our dance turned out and loved showing off our moves. My (now) wife and I had been doing informal group dance classes in the run up to our wedding. We'd been hoping to cut costs and go it alone. We contacted Paula about 2 weeks before our wedding in a panic! Two weeks to go and we had no idea what we were going to do! Paula really helped to bring our plans into some sort of physical shape.
